Untitled I am taking "Let's Face It" an online class by Jodi Ohl at Creative Workshops. The class is described as a creative discovery of ourselves using paint, collage, portraits, and journal writing as forms of expression. The class takes you through a series of lessons using a board book as your canvas. I branched out and did my first painting on a 12 x 12 canvas to donate to a fund raiser for the arts in Hartford. The photos show my progress as I worked on my painting. I now plan to go back and complete the lessons in order in my board book.
Fairy House And as the seasons come and go, here's something you might like to know. There are fairies everywhere: under bushes, in the air, playing games just like you play, singing through their busy day. So listen, touch, and look around - in the air and on the ground. And if you watch all nature's things, you might just see a fairy's wing. ~Author Unknown
Hand in hand, with fairy grace, Will we sing, and bless this place. ~William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
I got together with a few friends last week for an afternoon of creating. Some of us made fairy houses. In the garden, mine awaits it's new residents.
