From Roof Dog to Chalk Dog
This is a drawing of a dog my 2 year 8 month old granddaughter
did on the driveway using chalk. It had had faded after being
driven over a few times so I retraced the lines. I didn't
add or take away anything, just darkened the lines.
Two black labs. which she adores, live at our house.

6 by 6 - Hybiscus
I've been tagged by Christy of Inspiration Flirtation. The tag is to take part in the 6 by 6 game.
Choose the 6th image out of your 6th picture folder from your computer and blog it. Then tag 6 more people to do the same.
So, here is the 6th photo in my 6th album:
This was taken on the side porch of my mother's house in Diamondville, PA.

Stitches
This is my submission for "stitches" on http://inspirationflirtaion.blogspot.com
As a child I was running through the house at my grandparents when they lived on a farm in Pennsylvania. It was I who required stitches. In case the type is too small, it reads:

Running through the house,
Piano bench does not move,
The child requires stitches.

Icy Hybiscus
Ice Cinquain

A cinquain is a simple poem containing 5 lines of verse.
The first line is a one word title, (this must be a noun)
The second line is a two-word phrase realting to the subject,
The third line is three adjectives describing the subject,
The fourth line is a four-word phrase related to the subject, and
The fifth line is a one-word synonym for the title.
This cinquain was created to participate in my daughter's "seed" challenge, the seed being ice.
The photo was taken on the Maine coast in February.
